Visit to the Faculty of Computer Science at Politechnika Bialostocka, Poland, within the scope of the Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Exchange Program
Associate Professor Dr. Meriç ÇETİN, a faculty member from the Department of Computer Engineering at our Faculty, visited the Faculty of Computer Science at Politechnika Bialostocka, Poland, on March 17-18, 2026, within the scope of the Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Exchange Program.
During the visit, discussions were held with the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Marek Krętowski, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Dorota Mozyrska, the Faculty's Erasmus Coordinator, Dr. Joanna Karbowska-Chilińska, Prof. Agnieszka Malinowska, a faculty member from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Computer Science, and Prof. Khalid Saeed and Dr. Sławomir Zieliński, faculty members from the Department of Digital Media and Computer Graphics, regarding educational and scientific cooperation.
During the visit, two lectures were also given titled "Computational Neuroscience and Intelligent Approaches" and "Devices and Recent Applications Used in the Field of Cognitive Neuroscience," and the applications of computational neuroscience were evaluated from a computer engineering perspective.
