Our esteemed graduate, Harun GÜLEÇ, who was the top student in the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Computer Engineering in the 2008-2009 Academic Year and continues his career as a security engineer at Meta, has had his master's thesis entitled "A Novel LLM-Based Detection Method for Cloud Attacks: Prioritization of Attack Techniques and Creation of a Log Dataset Frame" published as a conference paper in IEEE Xplore, one of the world's most prestigious academic databases, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Amaç GÜVENSAN at the Department of Computer Engineering, Institute of Science, Yıldız Technical University!

In his research utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), rather than relying on fine-tuning, Harun systematically engineered the reasoning context. Thanks to this innovative approach, he achieved an outstanding 93% accuracy and 98% precision using zero-shot learning—shattering the typical literature benchmarks of 30-40%.
