An Orientation Program was held on September 15, 2026, at the Conference Hall in Block B of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences for students who were newly admitted to the Department of Econometrics in 2026, as well as students who recently joined Pamukkale University through horizontal transfer.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Akçay, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, also attended the program and met with our new students.
The orientation session was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Öncü Yanmaz Arpacı, a faculty member of our department. During the session, students were provided with general information about Pamukkale University, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the Department of Econometrics. The program also covered academic procedures, course registration, departmental processes, student services and opportunities, and key aspects of university life.
In the final part of the program, Toprak Efe İnce, a student of the Department of Econometrics and President of the PAÜ Econometrics Student Society, introduced the society and provided information about its activities, student events, and opportunities for participation in departmental community activities.
The orientation program concluded with a question-and-answer session.
As the Department of Econometrics, we wish all of our newly joined students a successful and productive academic journey.
