The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which opened with a Master's Program in the 1994-1995 academic year, began undergraduate education in the 1995-1996 academic year. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which graduated its first students in 1999, accepts approximately 120 students at the beginning of each academic year. Starting in the 2008-2009 academic year, students have been able to optionally attend a one-year foreign language preparatory class. The Doctoral Program in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering within the Institute of Science and Technology also began in the 2008-2009 academic year.
The objectives of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering are:
(EEM1) To conduct education, research, development, and application activities by effectively utilizing knowledge and technology in light of universal values to contribute to society.
(EEM2) To train electrical and electronics engineers who respect fundamental human and professional ethical values, are competent, innovative, entrepreneurial, and capable of lifelong learning.
